Statement of Faith
AND MESSAGE
We recognize God's word as revealed in the Holy Bible as the sole authority in matters of Faith and practice. However in order for all Baptists to have a common ground for which to agree upon, we adopt the Baptist Faith and Message from the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) June 14 2000 as the Statement of Faith and Message for Grandview Baptist Church

Church Covenant; As adopted on December 25th, 1869
Having been as we trust, brought by divine grace to embrace the Lord Jesus Christ and to give up ourselves wholly to Him, we do solemnly and joyfully covenant with each other to walk together in Him with brotherly love as our common Lord. We do therefore in His name and His love as our common Lord. We do therefore in His name and His strength pledge ourselves to live together in unity and to love, that we will exercise the mututal care as members over each other.
That we will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together as our regular meeting. That we will uphold the public worship of God and the ordinances of His house. That we will contribute of our means as the Lord has blessed us for the spread of His cause and the support of His faithful ministry of the gospel amongst us. That we will walk circumstantially in the world. That we may win souls remembering that Christ as His people were the "light of the world, the salt of the earth, a city set on a hill cannot be hid". Matthew 5:13-14
And may God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus Christ make
us perfect in every good work to do His will. Working in us that which is well pleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ to whom be glory forever and ever.
